After leaving his former company he established an autograph division within Beckett grading card services. He now works with a much stronger team of autograph experts that includes Brian Sobrero, Charlie Price, Larry Studebaker and Patrick Conway. One major difference between beckett and other companies is that you can see who signs off on your letters of authenticity. This helps you identify who is actually examining your items and is giving their actual opinion. I encourage everyone to get to know who your authenticators are and not just a CEO or president. So who's looking at your items? What have they obtained in person over the years? or do you rely on people who work behind closed doors comparing signatures on a database that solely rely on examples customers submit? Some of these experts are only knowledgeable in vintage and modern sports, and that’s fine if you're just looking for that.
