Description: Hakkake is a replaceable lining fabric part that goes in a traditional kimono. They are sewed on inner side of the hem and cuffs with its color gradations being glimpsed through arm movements and walking motion. Hakkake not only works as an inner color accent to the entire Kimono looks, but also works as a protection of frictions from frequent hand and feet movements. Hakkake is useful when a replacement of currently soiled Hakkake is necessary or when you want to switch the subtle inner looks of your Kimono. Due to the nature of being a vintage textile product, the item might come with partial wrinkles, fold lines and stains. Most of such conditions are either depicted in the gallery photos or otherwise illustrated within the product descriptions. Please keep in mind that, though I try my honest best in reporting any blemishes, it is impossible to locate and present every single one of them.
