What's on this DVD; "De Havilland Mosquito" This DVD is a collection of very RARE films on the Famous De Havilland Mosquito. The Mosquito was a British mufti-role combat aircraft and constructed almost entirely out of wood. Because of this construction, the Mosquito was strong, light and very fast. She could fly over 420 mph, and the Germans really had nothing to catch her. The Mosquito was used for photo Recon, daylight raids and as a pathfinders for the night bombing. A great aircraft and this DVD has some very rare film footage of the wonderful aircraft; The Mosquito. We hope you'll enjoy. 1st Film; "Trees that reach the Sky". This is a Canadian film on Mosquito and the lumber industry and how they log, produce plywood and build the mosquito. VERY RARE. Runtime 10:34 Min's 2nd Film; "RAF Pilot School". This an RCAF film on training men to be pilots in the RAF. Another title is "Into the Blue". See the cadets go through there training from the Tiger Moth to the SNJ AT-6 Texan, and on to the Mosquito. Another great film. Runtime 10:39 Min's 3rd Film; "The Mosquito Squadron". This too is a very rare film by the Canadians called the "Mosquito Squadron". This film start at the Mosquito factory to flight training, to eventfully flying on bomber runs fighting the Germans from England. Runtime 12:31 Min's 4th Film; "Pathfinders". This is a collection of short on Mosquito Pathfinders. from the 1st British daylight raids, to "Night and Day Bombing" to the battle after D-day and attacking Submarine pens. Runtime 13:59 Min's 5th Film; "Canadians Soldiers are Tough". This is a Canadian film about Canada's involvement and point of view of WW2.
