Description: This ultra comfortable backpack has been to many fantastic wilderness areas and can take you to one too! Dana Gleason started Dana Design in Bozeman, MT in the ‘80’s and was a pioneer in backpack design. He sold that company and went on to start Mystery Ranch. Mystery Ranch was just recently bought by Yeti. So there’s some cool history with the Dana Design brand and the heritage of this pack. The pack is from the late ‘90s but has been properly stored when not in use so it’s in great functional shape. Just for reference I am 5’11” and ~180 pounds. The Medium waist belt still has room to go smaller or bigger. The torso length is also fully adjustable on the harness yoke. The bag is big enough for a week’s worth of supplies for going deep into the backcountry, but the straps can be cinched down and the bag collapsed when you don’t need all of that space. The top lid comes off and can be used with the waist belt as a day pack.
