Description: This is a cue tip shaping guide for use on a lathe. It is used as a guide when shaping a cue tip with a razor blade. It is 7/16" thick and should work in any tool holder. It has been designed to offer the four most common curvatures used on a pool cue tip, the dime, nickel, penny, and quarter. The dime and nickel are the two most commonly used shapes for a cue tip. The penny radius offers a shape for those who want something in between the dime and nickel. The quarter is a great shape for break cues or jump cues. This radius creates a larger "center" of the cue tip, allowing for better contact on the cue ball and helps to reduce the effect of unintentional sidespin. Each guide has two sets of curvatures on it. It can also be turned upside down and used that way, giving you a total of 4 guides per radius. These are 3d printed using PLA material. PLA does not do well with heat. When using this guide, I recommend leaving a small gap in between the tip and the guide when cutting. Then, to check if the shape is correct, turn off the lathe and move the guide to the tip and look for gaps. These are made to order. With these being 3d printed, I can offer slight customizations to height and size. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Thanks for checking out my listing!
