Description: Crowley Ridge Agate 216g from Crowley Ridge Missouri. Fortification banding is a bit unusual with this 1 and the colors are darker than what we usually see. Its very botryoidal on the top and has a little sparkle to it. The bottom has very little vugs and 1 of them is packed with druzy crystals. Found in the river. Crowleys Ridge Agates are thought to erode out of the hard limestone around Crowleys ridge. Crowley's Ridge is a geological formation that stretches fromsoutheast Missouri to Helena-West Helena in Arkansas. That's a 200 mile span! These agates can be found there and no place else. These agate travel far past the 200 mile span via river and some have been found as far South as Louisiana! Combine shipping and save! Check my other auctions! Thank you!
