I do my best to respond quickly. Please accept that many factors are in play with shipped eggs. We use pulp quail egg cartons padded out with shredded paper and padded envelopes and have used this method successfully for several years after trying other options. We sort and pack them with the utmost care, but cannot guarantee how the Postal Service treat them once they have left our hands. For that reason, we cannot accept claims for broken eggs. When you receive your eggs, please open the box very carefully, and gently.Let the eggs sit for 12 hrs pointy end down, before putting them in your incubator, again, pointy end down, to enable them to settle. Under no circumstances WASH YOUR EGGS. When a hen lays an egg she covers it with a mucus that dries and protects the egg from bacteria entering the egg and damaging the developing chick inside. Make sure your incubator is calibrated to 99.9’ and the humidity is around 50 to 55 percent.Do not count the day you put eggs in the incubator. Day one starts the following day. On day 14 you stop turning eggs or take the egg turner out. Humidity needs to be 67 to 70 percent last 3 days. This is now what is known as LockDown. Do not open the incubator otherwise, you run the risk of ruining your hatch.Even if you get a chick hatch on day 15 wait to open the hatcher until day 18 otherwise you run the risk of shrink-wrapping the rest of the hatch. We use an app called Hatchabatch to help us with dates and recommend it.Happy hatching
