Description: Gorgeous hand painted game bird charger plate. This plate was made by Coronet in Limoges France and was hand painted by one of the most desirable and admired Limoges artists L. Coudert. The signature of L. Coudert is also one of Limoges most valuable. The plate was part of Coronets “Magnificent Game Bird Portrait Plates” series. The design is of a beautifully painted game bird against some tall grass. The plate is in good condition. There are very few surface scratches. There is a small chip on one corner. I have included these in the photographs. The plate is signed on the front and stamped on the back. The stand is included. The plate measures approximately 10” diameter.
