Description: On offer here is a Convaid Cruiser 18 adult-size folding wheelchair, used but definitely not used-up. The "18" refers to the eighteen inch width, which makes the chair an excellent fit for most adults. My kid is about 5' 8" tall and around 125 pounds, and he has plenty of room to spare. Much larger people will comfortably fit. The chair comes with a chest support, a seat belt, and foot supports. The foot supports are quickly and easily removed for transport and are secured with cotter pins. The whole chair folds up and is easy to get in the trunks of ordinary cars. I have used this chair with my kid for about ten years, and it is functionally excellent. A few scrapes and scratches here and there, but no problems in usage. My impression is that the Convaid equipment is expensive initially, but it is built to last a very long time, and it can withstand rough treatment.
