This is a heavy glazed porcelain rare and was produced in very limited numbers, and is now hard to find piece. This Comedy Central logo promotional cookie jar was released by Comedy Partners (the MTV Networks division in charge of Comedy Central) in the year 2000 to commemorate the debut of their then brand new logo, which this cookie jar displays. It is in great condition with no chips or cracks. It is marked on the back, "Copyright 2000 Comedy Partners. All Rights Reserved." Note-the lid is missing and is not included. Jar is in excellent shape but has a white spot on the top right side (see last photo for close up). I do not know what caused this but you can feel it with your finger that is is rough. Area is very small. It almost looks like a raised spot on the jar.Rough measurements of jar - 10 1/2 inches tall, 9 wide X 6 inches deep.
