Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a very nice, 31 String Clark Irish Harp, Style A, made by Lyon & Healy circa 1935. Clark was an independent company, started in Chicago. Could not produce enough instruments, so they hired Lyon & Healy to fill the gap. Clark moved to Syracuse NY, and Lyon & Healy still produced harps for Clark until 1935. Serial number 2501. I just read on the internet, the L&H serial numbers, using the first two digits as the year, this may represent this as a 1925. This harp is a PLAYER. Cleaned up, minor repairs made, (cracks in the soundboard, glued and cleated as guitars are repaired). New Bow Brand Strings, Wire / Gut / Nylon, the last picture shows the string layout. It has some dings, and scratches, but for it's age in great shape. At the time of these pictures, there are 5 strings missing. I received the 5 strings today, and have them installed, not going to retake the pictures. Rare in the condition it is in. The small stand provided with this, has a hinge assembly, allows this to tilt backwards on to the players shoulder. Not too interested in shipping this, large, and fragile.
