Description: This is a circa 1865 Business Trade Card from the J.M. Brunswick and Bros. Company. It is advertising the' Brunswick Billiard Hall and Restaurant run by Charles Kern of Chicago, Ill. The building was on Washington Street adjoining the Chicago Chamber of Commerce Bldg.There is a Lithograph on the back side of the card showing men playing pool in a large billiard hall. Not sure if it is the same building advertised. The lithograph was done by Louis Nelke, a famous Lithographer of his 'Day".This rare and unusual card measures 4-1/4" x 2-3/8".It is in very good condition. There is a small crease in the upper right corner of the card.
