The relic come from the Basilica of the Holy House in Loreto, Italy (the church containing the house in which the blessed Virgin Mary lived), and was covering the statue of our Lady of Loreto which was destroyed by fire in 1921. The relic is laminated in the paper with the original seal and a certificate of authenticity to assure the integrity of the relic. The card shows the age, but the relic is perfect. Size approx 8x11 inches, 20x28 cm. A rare and unique item, lifetime guaranteed, signed by the Custodian of the Holy House.
