Stoneware jug comes in great shape with original cork in the top! Cork has not been removed. Jug has a prominent manufacturer error in its design with an indentation in the stone at the 10 o'clock position (the handle is 12 o'clock in this example). This defect should have been caught during inspection, but was not - resulting in a highly unique and very rare piece! Piece dated to late 1800s based on research, no date is stamped on item. Print on side is vibrant and clear - beautiful piece! Item comes in great shape - free of cracks or chips.
