Description: Catholic Antique Extra Long Double Strand Rosary With 122 "Pearls". A most unusual Rosary that has two strands of "pearls" which are all in excellent condition. The chain is substantial metal of unknown material. Measurements are: Over all length aprox 34" when worn around the neck. A few inches longer when hung straight. The crucifix measures slightly under 4" in length and has what appears to be a mother of pearl facing on a gold colored background. This is a spectacular and rare piece. I have owned it for over 50 years and I have never seen another like it. It has been stored for most of that time.There are no marks so it's origins and exact age remain unknown.
