Description: Edelbrock AFB AVS AVSII Carter AFB High Performance accelerator pump assembly. Complete with new springs and retainer. The bottom return spring is stainless steel to resist rust. This is the shortest length accelerator pump available for maximum fuel delivery on acelleration and a direct replacement/upgrade for the Edelbrock stock type all plastic accelerator pump with the "soft" seal on them. Fits Edelbrock AFB models 1400, 1403, 1404, 1405, 1406, 1407, 1411, 1412, 1413 and Edelbrock Marine 1409 and 1410. Will also fit Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS 1805 and 1806. Fits Edelbrock AVSII 1901, 1902, 1906, 1912, 1913, 1915 and 1916. Perfect upgrade from a stock pump for all drag racing, circle track racing and other high performance applications. It will replace all stock accelerator pumps in any year Carter AFB that used a 13/16" diameter pump cup. The seal on the pump is grade five fluoroelastomer and fine in all modern fuel blends, even E-85, straight alcohol or methanol. It comes with a lifetime warranty. The seal on this pump is NOT the same as the cheap/soft light blue seals that show up on other pumps. We have used and tested these pumps in street and racing applications using alcohol, methanol and E-85 w/o issues.
