Description: group of 18 ads for Campbell's Tomato Soup 1955 1970 This is a large collection of 18 old magazine advertisements which are all for Campbell's Tomato Soup. All of the ads are full-pages ones, in color, measuring slightly 10 x 13 inches in size. They are generally in excellent condition, except for a few with a mild bit of edge browning, and one which has a small dampstain. Each ad is different, and all are shown in the accompanying photos. Most of them feature the iconic soup can which Andy Warhol used as his "model" in one of his most famous pop art pieces, when he immortalized the Campbell's Tomato Soup can. (His first one-man gallery exhibition was in 1962, and a representation of 32 Campbell's soup cans in the show helped make him a star in the art world.)
