Very heavy individually and as a set! Illustrated paper wrappers, profusion of illustrations within to accompany the scholarly articles. Each mag. is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Items are not new or in "new" condition. Binding age gently worn, yap paper edges chipped and splitting, some spine paper chipping, yet still remains overall clean and attractive as magazines. A casual perusal seems they are complete, we only noticed one page where a small ad had carefully been cut out. Text block paper is clean, internally well preserved, little staining or soiling, any flaws of a minor type unworthy of specific mention. Still attractive on the shelf. Magazines and lot displays a pleasing age patina and is in nice used condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
