If you set it down in a little bit of water, it’s not going to hurt anything! It won’t rip! Save yourself a disaster. 😊 The handles are bamboo and are sewn in to the burlap, they cannot rip off, no matter how heavy the wine is. I guess I should note that this does not come with the wine, I assume that’s a given?! Lol. The front has a see-through, thick, clear plastic, so you could see what kind of wine is inside.
