I got out a hook, and found an oversized pair of bead chain eyes and a piece of grizzly hackle in my tying trash pile. I tied the fly and gave it to him....A few days later he came back into the store and said he and his little daughter caught more bluegills on this fly than any other ever! Since then it has been one of my top best-sellers every year! I tie these on size 10 hooks. They are even featured in an article about me in the SOUTHWEST FLY FISHER summer 2005 magazine!
