The Conquest of the Desert was a military campaign directed mainly by General Julio Argentino Roca in the 1870s with the intent to establish Argentine dominance over Patagonia, which was inhabited by indigenous peoples. Under General Roca, the Conquest of the Desert extended Argentine power into Patagonia and ended the possibility of Chilean expansion there. The set is made up of plastic six figures, one officer and five regular soldiers in different action positions, ready for display. Dimension: Scale 54 mm (2,25 inches) approx. Condition: Figures are factory new, in excellent condition. Some painting details may change from the figures pictures, as well as, the plastic bases colour.
