Description: The Bremont MB1 watch is a special piece as this watch, tie, and pins are given to fighter pilots who successfully ejected from their aircraft in a Martin Baker ejection seat and lived. One of these pilots happens to be my beloved uncle, who has asked me to sell this piece on his behalf. He was part of the 555th fighter squadron in the Vietnam war flying a F4 Phantom. On September 4th, 1966 he was shot down by a SAM missile and for just over the next 6 years became a Prisoner of War to the Vietnamese. Listed on the back of the watch is the date of his ejection, his callsign (Satan 2), and the number "5924", symbolizing that he was the 5924th pilot to eject and live. After his release he wrote a wonderful book telling his POW story, to which the book will be included with the purchase of this set. Included in the set is: - Bremont MB1 Watch- All original packaging and letters he received from Market Baker - Martin Baker Tie- Martin Baker Wings Pin- Gold Silk Worm Pin that symbolizes what the parachute was made out of- 2355 Days A POWs Story Book
