Brave and the Bold #57 CGC 4.0/VG OW-WP 1965 Origin & 1st App of Metamorpho DCEU

This issue features the 1st appearance and origin of Metamorpho as well as the 1st appearances of Simon Stagg, arch-nemesis of Metamorpho and Stagg's daughter, Sapphire, girlfriend of Metamorpho. Anthony Carrigan is set to portray Metamorpho in the upcoming "Superman: Legacy" DCEU movie set to be released on July 11, 2025. Please take advantage of the fact that I will entertain all serious offers for this book by making me one. I am of the firm belief that negotiating (or haggling if you prefer) over the price of comic books is a time-honored tradition that makes the transactional experience more enjoyable for buyer and seller alike. That's just my obtuse way of saying, "Haggling's fun." In light of the recent re-holder scam, among others, at CGC, all I can do is give you the history of how this book came to me and came to be slabbed. I purchased it, raw, from a LCS just outside Pittsburgh (here we go Steelers, here we go!) on February 29, 2024. I then cleaned and pressed the book myself and it was slabbed on June 18, 2024 as revealed by looking up its certification #(4442745008) on either CGC's or GoCollect's website. You can also access the grader's notes at either site. The book/slab has been in my possession since its purchase date. I understand that I am asking you to trust me when trust is in short supply within the comic collecting community right now. All I can do is refer you to my feedback and offer to answer any questions you might have. FYI, I include a raw mystery book with every slab I sell, usually from the same title...something to think about.
