Description: This listing is for one(1) piece of 'Bonnie' original daily comic-strip artwork by Joe Campbell. In this delightful piece, Bonnie is washing the dog, but who is washing who? It is dated 5/2, however the exact year is unknown. 'Bonnie' was gag comic-strip which was syndicated by McNaught from 1956-1965. The strip was created by Joe Campbell, a comic art veteran and former 'ghost' artist for Bob Kane on Batman. Bonnie was intended to be competition to Ernie Bushmiller's 'Nancy'. The gags are usually rated 'G' mild. This particular strip is in pretty good condition. It was hand-drawn on thin Bristol board measuring 5 1/2" x 17 1/2". The only paste-on is the tiny syndicate strip. No significant defects are apparent. I am quoting USPS Priority shipping for this item. I can/will combine shipping on multiple purchases. Please place multiple items in your EBAY shopping cart. If EBAY doesn't automatically calculate the proper combined shipping due to one of their system bugs, complete the transaction and I will refund overpayment promptly. Special Handling and shipping requests must be negotiated prior to purchase. Original Comic Artwork does not legally qualify for Media Mail shipping, please don't ask me to break the law. Unsolicited Offers below listed price are not entertained. International Buyers take note that EBAY's listing tool does not allow for the selection of USPS International 1st-Class shipping service. I-1st-class is generally much cheaper than I-Priority which I am forced to choose in the EBAY listing, delivery time estimates are close to the same. If your package qualifies for I-1st-class, I will use it to send your package and refund the difference in shipping cost.Any Questions?
