Description: This auction is for an original poster that was to be mounted to heavy chip board to create a standee used for record stores to promote the soundtrack for the Blues Brothers movie in 1980 with an all star cast that included John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Steve Cropper, Donald Dunn, Carrie Fisher, Henry Gibson, John Candy, Kathleen Freeman, Steve Lawrence, Twiggy , Frank Oz , Charles Napier, Chaka Khan, Stephen Bishop, John Landis, Paul Reubens, John Lee Hooker, Pinetop Perkins, Steven Spielberg, and Joe Walsh. The film was directed by John Landis. The item is very good condition, rolled and never used. The colors are vibrant and the artwork is great including both lead actors for the film. I've included close ups of the two bottom corners for copyright information. For a framing idea, the item could be floated and centered on an acid free mat with a bit of a border since it has uneven sides. Sort of like I have centered it on a black mat board to photograph it.
