Description: Presenting this Birmingham Stove & Range (BSR) Century Series #3, #5, and #8 with Heat Ring These skillets are in overall good condition. Overall they sit flat, however the #5 does have a slight wobble, but no more then a credit card sized movement to fix. The #3 does have some blemishes in the finish but those will disappear with use. The skillets have no cracks and have few pits or scratches. Please review the pictures for more detail. These pans were made between 1966 and 1967 after the introduction of DISAMATIC production which was a form on mass production with machines vs. earlier hand made cast iron, but before BSR started adding "MADE IN THE USA" to their products to differentiate themselves from the cheaper made cast iron being imported from Asia at the time. These 3 pieces are all a matching set. This skillet has undergone a meticulous cleaning process with electrolysis and lye. After being cleaned, three layers of seasoning, using a blend of grapeseed, avocado oil, and beeswax have been applied as a base. The skillet is now primed for cooking, though it's important to note that this cast iron is not completely non-stick yet, and it develops its non-stick properties over time.
