Description: Premium BC412 Plastic Scintillator Material(pictures may not exactly represent the correct size, more pictures coming soon) Sized at about 1" X 2-1/4", these are precut Round with Polished Faces Bicron BC412 Scintillator Plastic. This material is a Premium Plastic Scintillator Material tested and guaranteed to work for gamma radiation detection when coupled to a PMT and built into a probe. This is the same material I use when building my own gamma detectors. The cutting and polishing of this plastic can be very difficult and costly without the proper know-how and equipment. Unless you’re going to build dozens of probes, buying a round precut piece from me is much cheaper (and easier) than trying cut and shape it yourself.
