Description: BF42b # In this display we have a beautiful taxidermy Luna Caterpillar next to a gorgeous taxidermy Luna Moth! They are gathering around a real preserved cocoon and showing all three stages of life! They are all surrounded by natural flora and real natural pieces including a real ladybug and snail, attached to a moss covered wooden base. Resting on the base is a removable bubble top glass dome, to keep your specimen safe from dust and wear. The entire display measures approximately 9 1/2" x 6" and would be an eye catching addition to any collection! Species: Actias Luna Saturniidae Butterflies are loved by all and are one of our very favorite insects. They do not sting or bite which makes them even more popular! This butterfly has been showcased so it can be enjoyed for years to come. These make wonderful gifts and are so beautiful most anyone receiving would be thrilled to have one! NOTE: If your item is in a glass dome please be aware that the domes are NOT permanently connected to the base. Care has to be taken when opening or removing the dome so not to damage the display or specimen. My displays mimic the antique look without everything being washed out and tattered due to extreme age.
