I purchased it directly from Salters in 2013 after Jim Martin was sent to prison for attempted murder. Proof of provenance goes to the successful buyer. The size is a hard-to-find Medium — most of these are Large and up — measuring 19” armpit to end of sleeve, 21” across the shoulders, 28” pit to pit, and 27” bottom of collar to bottom on back. Color is an appealing golden tan butterscotch. Condition is excellent, hardly ever worn. There is very slight staining along the inside lower elastic band where I unwisely wore it over a brand-new pair of blue jeans before washing them. Some of the dye rubbed off. A professional leather cleaner could no doubt remedy it but it does not show at all on the exterior. Lining is perfectly intact. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Christy’s Champs, her non-profit devoted to assisting women in abusive relationships and domestic violence prevention.
