Description: So about the racket and how I now have it, which I actually have three of these. During the US Open a few years pre pandemic, I acted as an off site hitting partner for a top 10 player. I was working for a tennis facility in NYC at the time and to dodge the crowds they would come to the facility, rent me as a pro for a private lesson but I would basically be a hitting partner. One of the days I was playing with them a Babolat rep brought out six rackets that were all the same, except three weighed 371 grams and three weighed 340 grams. This one I’m selling is one of the three less heavy ones out of the six. I have the other two that I’m keeping and what I am saying here is based on standing next to the player and them even letting me hit with the racket while they tested it. One of the last days I hit with them, the made a clear decision to stick with their usual weight of 371 grams, took those three out the hm into their bag and held out the three they didn’t like as much to me and told me I can have them. This is the best racket I’ve ever played with. And it was so quickly obvious that I realized that after hitting three ground strokes with it. I haven’t ever played with any racket that is anything like it. Everything about it and what ever they use to build pro rackets out of is 100x of anything you can buy in store. Or maybe these six were something entirely special. Not sure… but I’ve let people hit with it, maybe about 6 different people, the first thing they said to me was, “that’s the best racket I’ve ever hit a tennis ball with”. To give you an idea of how I personally would describe this racket - it’s like you took all the advantages of a Babolat and all the advantages of a Head Prestige (specifically the head prestige classic, Liquid Metal, and i-Prestige because after these the Prestige became a totally different racket. Even more specifically the prestige models of these that were 90-93 square inches) and you took the best reasons a professional tennis player would use these to their advantage and combined them into one racket. I don’t know how else to describe this racket… but it is a million miles away from a Babolat you have played with or any other store bought racket. I’m not here trying to tell you it’s the racket you play with, because these days a top ten player could probably beat me with a frying pan, but if you have an arsenal of tools to use, it’s so fun to play with this thing. So I’m selling it because I have three and feel like someone else should get to experience it. Feel free to ask me any questions. If you’re local to NYC come check it out. Just holding it you can tell it’s not a racket you’ve had in your hand before. Some more specs: Length - 27 inches Weight - 340 grams Rubber gimmick - doesn’t exist above the grip String Pattern - 16x19 Grip size - doesn’t say on the racket but based on what the player told me it’s 4 1/4 Just a couple chips on it but racket is in great condition.
