This super vintage sterling silver toothpick has nice light catching engine turned decorations going down its entire length, the slide on the body pushes out a spear-shape toothpick, the top has both a built in bail and attached hanging bail for wearing as a pendant necklace or for putting on a keychain. The toothpick is marked 'Birks, Germany, 925'. The pendant tests for sterling silver. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long when closed. When opened it measures about 3 1/2 inches long. The bail will hold a chain up to about 4mm wide. The pendant weighs approximately 4.3 grams. The pendant is in excellent condition with general light wear. There are no dents, dings or damage and the sliding mechanism works smoothly.
