Description: I have a matching set of stone tools found in the same field approximately 100 ft appart. Both made of identical, or maybe exact same granit stone. One is a hammer stone 3/4 groove used as an every day tool. Second is another hammer stone 3/4 groove but tapers more to a point at one end. My great grandfather always said they were a war club. Some call them skull crusher hammers. Assuming g he was correct. He claimed they would use as a weapon. Also used to finish off big game as the tapered end is more productive to drive a final blow into the head of large game. We speculate alot but people have good knowledge these days on actual reasonable use. The hammer is good quality it's not worn to a nub. I have those too not listed. But the second also is in very good shape. Close to being complete without much damage at all. Both made with a speckled pinkish granit. Beautiful set and selling both as one unit. 3/4 groove for mounting on wood limb. I personally picked both out of the same field in Auglaize County Ohio. Maybe 100ft appart. Or most likely less. I'd bet to say they are from the same people at the same time period. The hammer approximately 2 1/2" long by 2+ wide. The skull crusher ( let's call it). 3" long and 2" wide. Beautiful set. Both found in personal hunting area and field find. As stated in previous listing. No digging or grave robbing . I'm not ok with that type of finds and that needs to be left up to the professionals. This is a chance to own something not many can ever say they have. I matching set of stone tools from the same people in great shape. Considering how many times tractors, plows, and planting equipment has ran over them. Not considering the harsh environmental elements in my state plays on anything and everything. Im lucky they both are in tack. Sell as a set. I'm selling both together for one price. I expect them not to be here long. Here is your chance and I guarantee authentication 100%. I picked them up myself. After many miles and years of walking. Thank you for taking the time and intrest in my listing. Any issues please reach out to me and I will do my best to resolve it swiftly and professionally. Any positive feedback or reviews welcome, as they are greatly appreciated. Thanks again and have a great day!
