The older Atari 800 had the 16K RAM cards mounted in a plastic case. These can easily be remove from the old 16K RAM card to install on the new 16K RAM card. If you want a case with cover we sell them for $5. We bought these direct from Atari. There can be up to 3 16K RAM PCB in an Atari 800 or 1 16K RAM in an Atari 400. See picture link below that shows other boards that are sold on our web site and in othetr auctions. If your 16K RAM is installed in a plastic case it can be replaced by this one by removing the 2 screws on the side of the case.
