Description: JAZZ MESSENGERS - Moanin LP BlueNote Records BLP 4003 Mono pressing 47 W 63rd labels. Featuring Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt supporting Mr Blakey. This and Miles Davis Kind of Blue came out the same year, such a ying and yang balance. RECORD in G+ Condition. Side one is better side. Side two looks rougher plays through without skips on my setup. Playback is overall around VG, plays loud and clear. Writing on one side of deep groove labels. RVG and P in deadwax on both sides. These old Blue Notes are tough as tanks and sound great. COVER in G+ Condition. Top/bottom seams split 6" from opening. Laminated front cover has some peeling. See pictures for spine and other details. Writing on back, wear on corners and opening. All records are from my personal collection. Conservative use of Gold Mine for grading.
