Description: This is an Aria Pro II RS Special V Electric Guitar made in Japan in 1983 by Matsumoku. They manufactured this model for only two years- 1982 to 1983. It features a solid Sen body, a rosewood fret board and maple neck, three single-coil pickups with dual magnets and adjustable pole pieces, 1 volume two tone controls, a 5-way switch, a vintage style bridge, bone nut, and Aria branded sealed tuners. It is in good condition for its age, with some nicks to the finish. It plays well, with low action and a fluid neck. The frets have some wear, but have much life left. The pickups produce great Strat tones, with a magnet design Fender used in MIM Strats a decade later - minus the adjustable pole pieces. It is useful to think of this guitar as a tribute to vintage Stratocaster design packaged in a new body form. Aria would use this same body design for another 6 years after this was made. The guitar balances well, and the form and body shape keeps it close to you, but comfortable while playing. The neck features a combination of V shape and rosewood fret board that didn’t exist in the vintage Fender era. Fender stopped making V necks by 1958, and rosewood fret boards did not show up until 1962. It is a nice neck with a soft V profile. It is a very comfortable guitar to play, and the Sen body, vintage bridge, and bone nut make it naturally resonant. This guitar is being sold used, in as-is condition. Please check photos and ask any questions before purchasing. The guitar will be shipped in 3 business days after payment. Sorry, no international sales. Thanks for looking!
