Description: CIRCA 1950'S. LESLIE PINA DESCRIBES THIS AS "PUNTI FORMI". Particularly PHOTO 14 shows a page from Pina's Archimede Seguso book that reflects a punti formi perfume atomizer, in white and gold with turquoise dots, ca. 1957. THE BULB FOR THE ATOMIZER IS SOFT AND CONTINUES TO SQUEEZE AIR SO IT MAY BE FUNCTIONAL, BUT AT 65 YEARS OLD, IT MIGHT JUST CRACK UNDER THE USE AND IT LOOKS SO NICE NOW; IN UNDAMAGED CONDITION. (PHOTO 1, 11 & 12). LIGHT SURFACE WEAR TO THE CHROME FINISH OF THE METAL HARDWARE. THE GLASS HAS THE ROUND SCALLOPED SEGUSO FOIL LABEL ON BOTTOM. THE POLISHED PONTIL REMAINS POLISHED WITH NO EVIDENT WEAR. (PHOTO 5) THE GLASS BOTTLE ITSELF IS IN EXCELLENT, IF IMPERFECT, CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR IMPACT MARKS NOTED. MY FINGERS WERE ABLE TO LOCATE TWO SPOTS WITH 'VARIATIONS' IN THE TEXTURE AND THE LAST TEN PHOTOS ARE AN ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE THAT. (PHOTO 16-24). I think that (PHOTO 16) shows some imperfection at and above the spot of light on the glass. (PHOTO 16) shows what appears to be a SURFACE GLASS DRIP. It is not something that can be seen with the naked eye. I believe one to be original to the creation of the piece while the other would technically be "damage" of a sort. (PHOTO 23 & 24) were taken at full zoom on my iphone through an 8x loupe. AT THE VERY LEAST, IT SHOWS GREAT CLOSE-UPS OF THE GOLD FLECKS. THE LAST FOUR PHOTOS ARE INTERESTING TO SHOW THE TECHNIQUE USED AND TO SHOW WHAT ACTUALLY EXISTS WHEN YOU GET IN THERE CLOSE. All four of those were taken with the intent of showing the faults in the glass so if you see something in those four, it is likely real. In the LAST PHOTO there is an imperfection you can see to the right of the arrow point. ONE APPEARS UNDER MAGNIFICATION TO BE GLASS THAT WAS NOT SMOOTHED PROPERLY AT THE TIME OF CREATION WHILE THE OTHER DOES APPEAR TO BE A SCRATCH UNDER MAGNIFICATION. I COULD NOT PHOTO IN A WAY THAT WOULD CAPTURE THE IMPERFECTIONS BUT MY EYES CANNOT SEE THEM; ONLY MY FINGERTIPS CAN. MAYBE YOU CAN FIND THEM IN THE LAST TEN PHOTOS. THE LAST PHOTO LOOKS LIKE AN ASTEROID BELT. In the last several photos, the blurry portion is what I am referring to. It is a drip of the glass Shipping weight is two pounds and I will wrap the atomizer separate so that there are no breaks to the hose when you receive it. The top screws right onl
