Description: This fine antique/vintage hash handled ice ax was made by the Swiss climbing equipment company Fritsch (Zurich). I purchased it from the estate of a 99 year old climber outdoorsman who probably bought it in the 1950's or early 60's. It is 31" long with a width from adze edge to the point of the pick of 13". It is in 'as found" condition with a little rust and the patina of many year's use. Stock number SA2D-320
