Not a print, this is a genuine hand painted watercolor by a well known, prolific and listed Boston artist. The artist paper the watercolor is painted on had been adhered to a matte board that I carefully trimmed the edges as the matte had become age toned. The artwork has no stains or tears but these is much age foxing spots typical of many antique watercolors in particular. See the detailed photos. At the age of eighteen he entered the Massachusetts Normal Art School in Boston, where he remained two years. In 1881 he went abroad, and there further pursued his art studies for three years, studying in Paris at Julian's, under Boulanger and Lefebvre.
