Description: One (1) antique to vintage Japanese carved, painted and gold gilt figure. Once part of a small shrine or traveling shrine (Zushi). Small pink stone in forehead (see picture #17). Late Meiji to Taisho Period 1900-1920's. Good condition- minor wear, was mostly repainted all gold at a later date. Missing nimbus on back. Measures 5 5/8 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches wide and 2 3/8 inches thick. See my many other Japanese altar figures and Japanese and Chinese antiques.
