Description: This gorgeous Uzbek silk ikat chapan is quilted with cotton batting and fully lined in beautiful red paisley. The most fun part is hidden, though- polka dot interior sleeves! Pink and purple warp face hand dyed and woven silk in traditional design is trimmed in intricate hand embroidery with the above mentioned dramatic long sleeves. A truly one-of-kind handmade antique textile for your eclectic ethnic collection. Very good condition. There are a couple of faint stains (please see twelfth photograph for example) and color runs, and one small hole (eleventh photograph) and a two inch shattered area at hem (last photo). Silk has little stretch. No closures. Best fit is sizes small and medium. Shoulder to shoulder is 16 inches, bust is approximately 34 inches, sleeves are 26 inches, and shoulder to hem is 47 inches long.
