Description: c1900 Souvenir mug from Rockaway Beach, Long Island, New York. Marked 'Krys-tol' inside mug, likely produced by Jefferson Glass. The pressed pattern is Diamond & Peg. Measures 3" tall and 4" rim to handle. Excellent condition - no chips, cracks or flaws; the hand painted rose and the lettering show no wear. Some small 'straw lines' in the glass which is normal for the manufacturing process on glass of this era. But what you really want to know is....does she GLOW?! YES! And brightly! Not easy to capture in a photo but this mug shines like the sun. Uranium custard glass from around 1900-1910. Excellent addition to your collection! It will be packed securely to arrive safely.
