Description: Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau antique match safe, matchbox, vesta, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. There is a match scraper on the underside and lovely floral details on each side. It has the engraved initials H.J.L. It is stamped W STERLING then another symbol and 34 on the lip of the opening. The pictures somewhat show the stamp, but I could not zoom in to get a clear picture. Not sure if the "W" is the maker's mark but it's possible that the maker is Webster based on research. Some tarnish, wear and scratches but in very good condition for its age!
