Beautiful Art Nouveau bowl vase filled with flowers with unique black background. Looks like thick paint watercolor or perhaps gouache. Correctly artist signed in block lettering lower right. There may be minor dust under the glass. Frame has normal edge wear. Fine condition in the original frame with old glass cover - see detailed photos. NOT a print, it is genuine hand painted, I checked with a powerful magnifier. Jesse L. Smith Gaynor (February 17, 1863 - February 20, 1921) was an American composer of children's music. She wrote the music for the well-known children's lullaby "The Slumber Boat", in collaboration with the children's author, Alice C.D.
