Description: An antique Rookwood 1926 production vase in a dramatic brown glaze over a molded grape pattern. Marked on the bottom with the Rookwood logo, 1926 date, and shape 2604. There is also an X mark on the bottom indicating this piece was a factory second due to the production related glaze grinding marks on the bottom which break the rim edge (see photos of the glaze grind marks and then subsequent photo of how they appear on the standing vase at eye level with the base). These marks are not noticeable when the vase is displayed unless you look for the them at eye level with the base. Otherwise the vase is in very good antique condition with no post production related chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. Dimensions are 6 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter.
