Description: Antique Rogers Meriden Quadruple Silver Plate Tea Service. Including tea and coffee pot, sugar and cream pitcher and waste bowl. Each piece has a beautiful etched botanical pattern with vertical banding at the top and bottom. The coffee and tea pots have small beige accent bands on the handles. Please note these are unpolished, antique items and do show signs of ware such as tarnish, streaks and spotting, discolorations, surface scratches and small dings. Please view photos. It is recommended to use the zoom feature when available. In overall good antique condition. The marking on the bottom of the pieces was used by Rogers Smith & Co of Meriden from 1877-1904. I was able to find one other person with this pattern whom mentioned it as being from 1868 though after much digging on the web I was unable to find a catalog to confirm exact release year.
