Description: A wonderful and rare art nouveau dinner service for six by RC Bavaria, the predecessor to Rosenthal. The shape of the pieces are known as "Iris". The decoration on each piece is an amazing Art Nouveau floral pattern with bunches of flowers surrounded by leaf and gold gilt rims. Included in the set: -6 Dinner Plates, 10" -6 Salad Plates, 7.625" -6 Rim Soup Bowls, 10" -6 Cups -6 Saucers -1 Large Tureen -1 Tureen Underplate -1 Spoon -1 Sauce/Gravy Boat -1 Round Platter -1 Round Serving Bowl -1 Footed Serving Bowl All pieces are in excellent condition with little to no wear. This set was rarely used based on the condition. There is one hairline crack to the rim of one of the salad plates. Please see photos for details.
