Description: Made from 3/4" red oak, this bank is 6 1/2 wide by 7 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" deep with a vintage #2 size U S flying eagle Post Office box door. The door was manufactured in the 1940's during WWII when brass and bronze was devoted to the war effort. This door has become a favorite among collectors for it's design and symbolism. This size bank gives you almost twice the storage as the regular #1 size bank and something a little more unique at the same time. The combination lock works perfectly and the combo and instructions come with the bank. All of my banks come with felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching. I added a brass coin slot for protection and enhanced appearance.
