Description: This is a rough but still quite interesting original 1848 Nathaniel Currier (Currier & Ives) landscape print showing Washington D.C. from the President's house. It was stored for many years in an old antique frame with a backer that reacted with the print's paper to produce significant foxing. The print also has some areas of damage which were addressed at some time in the past with the addition of some adhesive material to the print back.
