The painting is antique and should date to be 100 +/- years old. The painting is an original watercolor painting depicting a view of Venice, Italy, buildings, architecture and a gondola boat (see photos). The painting does not look to be signed by the artist (see photos). The painting is framed in the original wood and gesso picture frame. There is some glare and reflections coming off of the glass that is visible in the photos (the glass will be removed and NOT included when the painting ships out). Glass is easier to replace than original artworks. The item is from an estate liquidation. The painting framed measures in total about 23.5 inches high, and it is about 18.5 inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame or the matting measures in total about 12 inches high, and it is about 7 inches wide. The picture frame has dust on it, some obvious gesso losses, finish losses and some obvious signs of wear (see photos). The painting has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice antique original Venetian Italian watercolor painting to add to your collection.
