Description: Here we have a vintage / antique "Mason's Patent Nov. 30th 1858" half gallon size fruit canning jar with porcelain lined zinc lid...the greenish aqua jar is in very good condition with a rough ground top rim...it is crudely whittled with lots of air bubbles throughout and a few metal flake imperfections embedded in the glass (the largest flake in at the 8 in 1858)...it also has very nice strong embossing...the bottom is embossed "C 92"...the jar displays nicely and measures 9" tall...a great addition to your collection...we will be selling several more vintage / antique Mason jars so check out our store for more listings...the last photo shows other jars we are listing and the color variations...this listing is for the one 1858 Mason jar...
